Specifically earrings. Oh shuddup, she has real diamonds on her rings and bracelet. Don’t give me a hardtime, I need a new muffler on the Dodge.

They are cubic zirconias. And they glitter like diamonds.

But if you can’t afford the real thing, maybe find something with more meaning and less cost. Giving her the fake thing sends a bad message.

I can’t really tell the difference when they are clean

They look pretty good. I wear one in my engagement ring and no one was the wiser. I wouldn’t try to pass them off as real to her though. Buy a good CZ in good settings and only you 2 will be the wiser. :-) Also keep them at a believable size. You don’t want it to look like she’s wearing doorknobs in her ears!

Pretty close. Just keep in mind bigger isn’t always better.

If you get good quality ones, no one will be the wiser. There are some that are **CHEAP** and they look it, but if you find ones set in solid 10k or 14k gold, they are usually the better quality.

Also… look for good settings — they’ll really set them off as believable. Trust me… most of mine are “created” diamonds… I’d rather have those and not have to worry about losing them or damaging them, and no one is the wiser!

    She’ll know.

And you’ll never ever be allowed to forget it. Tell her they are zirconias and that they are just placeholders for the real Diamonds she’s getting for her birthday.

    =)

,A Cubic Zirconia is so close to a diamond that only a Jeweler or Gemologist can tell the difference.

If you do purchase one for your lady, you should make sure you tell her because if you don’t and she goes to get it appraised for insurance purposes, she will find out then and you may not want to deal with the repercussions.

There is nothing wrong with giving someone a man made diamond which is what it actually is but don’t try to fool her, the truth is always better.

You may just wish to purchase a smaller diamond or something with diamond chips in it and the gold around it can have what is called the diamond cut which makes it appear bigger.

    Ha! Ha! that’s funny.

But seriously I wouldn’t gives you a hard time because around the world there are all kinds of hard times war, killing, etc..etc..

And all you want to do is give something nice for your special girl.. aaaawwww… I’m going to cry(yes I’m a girl. ..lol.. )

Don’t worry if its not the real thing but unless you are trying to pass them off as real to her

THEN I’ll pound you… lol.. real or fake as long as you are honest with her and don’t lie she won’t feels like you are trying to pull something over her eyes.
Just tell her that you wanted to give her the world but you need a new muffler in order to travel that world..lol..

So give her those earrings and then give her the most gentle loving kiss and carry her off into the winter moon in your Dodge and live happily ever after.. :-)

    Good luck and Happy Holiday.
