Are we contributing to the blood spill overseas from buying these so called blood diamonds?

OFCOURSE WE CONTRIBUTE TO THE PROBLEM. Were the country that consumes the most goods and services.

OH yes we are. These countries are being exploited for their natural resources. They are neither economically nor militarily stable, so that is why they are so easily exploited. These countries are also called resource rich countries. Those in power in these countries try to keep the power of the natural resources because that is what essentially feeds the country. So as long as we exploit their natural resources and fuel their armed conflict, the countries peoples are going to suffer.

No I think you don’t. Most of these visions represent symplistic views.
We contribute much more by selling arms to these countries. Take awaqy the guns and the blood diamonds are inexistant.
By the way, diamond mining contributes seriously to employment in for example Africa !
