Are we contributing to the blood spill overseas from buying these so called blood diamonds?

While we live in paradise (compare to other countries) people overseas work and die to provide us w/ the things we want and need. One of those things are diamonds. As we consume more products w/ these precious jewels wars are being fought to provide them.
