I figure if rebels actually do have access to areas full of diamonds, it shouldn’t be terribly hard to kill a bunch of untrained militants and take what they have. Not saying I want to do this, just thinking if a group of soldiers who were actually trained, and had capital to buy high quality weapons they could do this. They would just need to figure out how to traffick the weapons in and the diamonds out.
