1st in Diamonds

The diamonds are VERY small and are from an Italian jeweller, they were bought a wk ago as a present.
They werent for me, i dont know anything about the gold except its 18k, they werent from a big well known company so there are probably several around.

plan to empty the family vault this weekend and clean the jewels therein. amongst the hoard are several decent sized diamonds and Emeralds i plan to wash these with soap and then pop them into the Microwave to dry. Is there a better way?
